Hair Care/ Faqs

Our Virgin Brazilian, Malaysian, and Peruvian Color ~ Hair comes in its natural hair color. This hair color is a Natural Blackish Brown color. (similar to a 1b shade) Not all bundles will be the exact same color since bundles are collected from different donors. We try our best to closely match each bundle to each order but it is not promised or guaranteed to be the same color.

Virgin ~ All of our hair products are 100% Authentic Virgin Hair. Our products has not been chemically processed or altered. Our hair does not contain animal hair or synthetic fibers. All roots are intact at the root/weft.

Shedding & Tangling ~ With proper care and maintenance, you should experience little shedding and absolutely no tangling. To avoid tangling or shedding, we recommend that you seal your wefts, and keep hair clean and free of harmful products.

Hair Maintenance ~ Once hair is cut/collected from its donor, the hair cannot produce its own moisture. Therefore, to keep your healthy and strong, you must keep your hair moisturized. Failure to keeping your hair moisturized can result in breakage, split ends, tangling, and shedding. Products that we recommend are Herbal Essence Hello Hydration, John Frieda, Mixed Chicks, Dove Intensive Repair, Keracare Products, Bio Silk and Organix products. You can also use a light leave in conditioner to keep hair soft and manageable.

Avoid using products that contain alcohol, this will dry your hair out.

We highly recommend using a licensed colorist professional when dyeing and/or bleaching your hair. Using these products can be harmful when used improperly. (Please note- Every licensed Stylist is not a professional at coloring hair.)

Wefts ~ Our Virgin hair wefts are machine made. Sewing through your weft can cause damage to the wefts and cause shedding.

Washing your hair ~ Dirt buildup on hair can cause shedding and tangling. Using too much product can cause dirt build up. To avoid this, we recommend that you wash your hair weekly, or at least 7-10 business days.

When washing your hair, detangle your hair before washing. Start from the ends and work your way up. Do not scrunch up hair when washing. Wash hair in a downward motion to avoid tangling. Use cold to luke warm water when washing hair.

Heat ~ Avoid using too much heat products, such as blow drying and curling irons/wands, flat irons. We recommend using a heat protect spray when using any of the products. Please use low heat settings when using heat products. We recommend that you let your hair dry than blow drying.

Curling your hair ~ Flexi rods can be used to create beautiful curls and waves. For bouncy curl or waves, use rods on dry hair. For tighter curls or waves, roll when wet. Bigger parts, with less rods will create waves. Smaller parts with more rods used, will create curls.

Swimming ~ When swimming, we recommend using a swim cap. Or braiding your hair in a few braids to keep from tangling. Immediately wash hair after swimming. HAIR TIP ~ Before swimming in chlorine or salt water, you can rinse your hair with fresh water to create a temporary barrier for your hair. This way, your hair will soak in the fresh water other than the chlorine or salt water. You will still need to wash your hair following your swim.

Exercise ~ Sweat from exercise will cause your hair to get dirt and build up, which will cause tangling and shedding. We suggest that you wash you hair following your workout, or at least 1-2 times a week, depending on your schedule.
